In 2006 we decided that Sam
needed some friends.
So we bought 2 dozen eggs from Fairview
Hatchery.
(Which is no longer on the web) for $54.58.
The eggs arrived
on a Saturday. Well the post office is only open
until 12pm and the delivery guy put a note in my mailbox at
11:45am.
So, due to the holiday, the eggs sat in the post office until
Tuesday.
Needless to say,
we tried, but none of them hatched.
May of 2007 we
decided to try again, but this time
we ordered day old chicks from Meyer Hatchery.
